We will teach you how to to consciously change the rate, rhythm, and depth of your breath to give you the power to use the breath as an effective tool for bettering your physical, emotional and mental health and wellbeing.

YOGA

Yoga is the practice and cultivation of self-knowledge.

Our primary style of yoga at Pranic Paths is rooted in Traditional Hatha Yoga, which integrates asana, pranayama and meditation.
Hatha Yoga was developed as a way to prepare the body for meditation.
We emphasise physical postures (asanas) to cultivate and strengthen full body and breath awareness (pranayama), which in turn opens the energetic body and balances the mind-body connection. This holistic approach ultimately leads to a natural state of awareness and prepares the mind for meditation.

Yin is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and can be considered a quiet contemplative practice, with longer holds, passively targeting the fascia, ligaments, tendons, connective tissues, joint capsules, and meridians that run through the fascia to release blocked energy.
This is a great practice for balancing subtle energetic forces in the body. -
Moving slowly and mindfully through asana connecting deeply to breath.

It’s never too late and one is never too old to learn and practice yoga – through the lens of traditional Hatha yoga, we cover the basic fundamentals to cultivate the breath with movement, helping develop and maintain strength and flexibility as you move through the key asana categories.

Yoga Nidra is also known as yogic sleep, a profound guided practice used for deep conscious effortless relaxation, whilst remaining in awareness. Yoga Nidra is a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental, and emotional relaxation whilst comfortably lying down or resting in a position of comfort.

Giving yourself permission to completely surrender and relax the mind and body. Laying on the mat being completely supported by props.

We offer online or in person 1 on 1 or small group sessions – here we explore tailoring a theme or personal sadhana for your individual needs and requirements.

MEDITATION

Pranic Paths blends a unique variety of techniques to quieten, ground and centre the mind. Meditation can be used to help us down-regulate and find calm, whilst also stimulating us into deeper states of connection and wellbeing.
You can expect to explore and develop skills in walking, body scan, guided, loving-kindness and manifesting practices.
REIKI

Reiki is a gentle and supportive modality. It can be especially helpful to nourish as you move through and navigate the cycles of life. Reiki is an ancient and sacred Japanese modality of energy healing.
You can expect the light touch of hands positioned over the main chakras that run through the subtle body. Reiki encourages energy to flow freely through the body and helps to balance and clear blockages that may be caused by trauma, suppressed negative emotions or negative thinking patterns.

SOUND MASSAGE/HEALING

At Pranic Paths, our Sound Massage offers a transformative experience, harmonising the body, mind, and soul through the gentle power of sound vibrations. This unique modality uses hand-crafted Tibetan healing bowls, placed directly on the body over specific chakras, to deliver a soothing and revitalising massage.
As the bowls are lightly tapped, the sound vibrations resonate through your entire being, touching your innermost self and making your soul vibrate. This profound experience promotes deep relaxation, releases tension, and activates your self-healing abilities, setting free your creative energy.
During the session, you will remain fully dressed, comfortably lying on a massage table, covered with a light blanket. The soft, calming sounds from the singing bowls spread throughout your body, mind, and spirit, eliciting feelings of deep ease and peace.
