A deluxe rich chocolatey healthy treat, worthy of bringing out for dinner party guests to impress at the end of an evening.  They would never know they were packed full of health benefits.

I store these in the freezer to keep the nuts at their premium and optimum freshness.  You could also store in the fridge if you prefer.

Chilling time: 2 hours

Makes: 445 g or 14 x 30g balls

 

Ingredients:

2 cups Brazil nuts, shelled, skin on

¼ tsp ground nutmeg

2 Tbsp ground chia and flaxseed mix

1 cup pitted dates

2 Tbsp cacao powder

2 Tbsp desiccated coconut

 

Method:

Place the above ingredients into a heavy motored food processor and blend until the chocolate mix comes together as a smooth, soft paste.

Roll into balls and store in an airtight container in the freezer/fridge.
